Santa Rosa Market Stickup: Masked Gunmen Pedal Away After Firing Shot

Two armed men walked into Ortega’s Market on Guerneville Road in Santa Rosa yesterday, demanded cash and then rolled away on bicycles after one of them fired a round inside the store, according to police. No one was hit, and employees were not physically harmed. Investigators later released surveillance stills and urged neighbors to comb through doorbell and dashboard camera footage for any sign of the suspects or their bikes.

Police: Suspects Wore Masks and Fled on Bikes

Santa Rosa police said both suspects were dressed in all-black clothing, with black facemasks and blue gloves. One had a slim build, while the other was described as having a larger build and a darker complexion. Both men are believed to be about 25 to 30 years old and roughly 5-foot-10. One suspect pointed a handgun and demanded cash before a round was fired inside the market, according to KRON4.
