The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday said it is no longer asking people to avoid the area of a Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit maintenance facility north of Santa Rosa that had police activity earlier in the day.
The Sheriff’s Office issued an alert shortly before 11 a.m. asking people to avoid 3748 Regional Parkway, the location of the SMART Rail Operations Center and located near the train agency’s Sonoma County Airport station.
