A Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office aviation crew followed a motorcycle that took off from a traffic stop late Wednesday, tracking it across the county line into Manatee County before ground deputies moved in. Video released by the agency shows the bike heading south out of Hillsborough County and into neighboring Manatee, where the rider eventually bailed out in a wooded area. Officials identified the suspect as 33-year-old Dantonio Brown and said he was arrested without further incident. According to the post, he faces several charges.
In a Facebook reel shared by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, HCSO’s Aviation Unit, patrol deputies and the Florida Highway Patrol can be heard and seen coordinating as the motorcycle flees the initial stop and crosses into Manatee County. The short clip shows the rider abandoning the bike at the edge of heavy brush, then slipping into the trees before deputies close in.
