Myakka City woman seeks GoFundMe support after alligator rollover car crash

An online fundraiser GoFundMe has been started for a Myakka City woman who was injured after crashing into an alligator and rolling her vehicle.

Maslin Kurtz, 25, is at home recovering from a fractured shoulder, sternum and spine after she was in the ICU following a car crash, according to a GoFundMe launched to help cover her medical and living expenses. On March 5, Kurtz’s vehicle collided with an alligator and rolled, according to the fundraiser.

According to a photo attached to the GoFundMe, a couple rescued Kurtz from her “crushed car” and prayed with her as she awaited emergency services…
