PALMETTO, Fla. (WWSB) — Weeks after families were left devastated by damage at the historic Old Memphis Cemetery in Palmetto, the community returned Saturday with a different mission — restoration.
Volunteers spent hours cleaning headstones, pulling weeds, picking up debris, and continuing repair efforts at the cemetery after multiple graves were found damaged earlier this month.
