Cost of May River High prank damage estimated at approximately $20,000

85 May River High School students faced disciplinary actions after a May 14 senior prank. Three seniors also did not walk at graduation with their class as a result.

After 85 seniors entered May River High School during the evening of May 14 as a prank, the outcome led to disciplinary actions and three seniors facing additional penalties, including not being allowed to walk with their graduating class, according to a Bluffton Police Department report.

Some of the pranks reported during the incident include live pigs being set free into the school, shaving cream being sprayed on the walls, wet paper towels and wet paper being thrown and sticking to the ceiling tiles, pickle juice being poured into a copy machine, syrup and soap being spread throughout the school, forks being thrown into a microwave, and furniture overturned, police said…
