Bond denied for man accused of fatal Dave’s Hot Chicken shooting

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The 19-year-old man who allegedly shot and killed his co-worker at Dave’s Hot Chicken was denied bond Tuesday, court records show.

Jakobie Johnson, 19, was arrested following the April 3 shooting at the restaurant on Victory Drive. Nejeh Williams, 21, was killed in the shooting after the two allegedly had a dispute outside.

Johnson was charged with murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
