Burlington Stores is expanding with a nearly 2-million-square-foot distribution center in Ellabell, Georgia, adding a major logistics hub near the Port of Savannah as the retailer continues to expand its presence across the U.S. The site is expected to play a key role in supporting Burlington’s East Coast replenishment network and future store growth.
The expansion comes as Burlington continues to add stores nationwide. The company operated 1,212 stores at the end of fiscal 2025 and plans to open 110 net new stores by the end of 2026.
Building for growth
The Georgia facility is one of several major supply chain investments Burlington has announced this year.
In April, the company broke ground on a nearly 2 million-square-foot distribution center in Buckeye, Arizona, that is expected to open in 2028.
