SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Scottish pride will take over Bynuh’s Field at Bethesda Academy this Saturday.
The Savannah Scottish Games is back for its 48th year, celebrating Scottish heritage with music, athletic events, clans and food.
The event will feature Celtic music, Scottish clans and societies, pipe bands, highland dancing and heavy athletic events. Athletes will throw telephone poles during the highland games competitions.
Activities for all ages
The games will include children’s activities, sheep herding, birds of prey, genealogy, tug-of-war, hurling and living history demonstrations. Food and refreshments will be available…
