Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia has announced the opening of its 2026 Summer Food Service Program, known as Happy Helpings, providing free meals to children across Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, and Wayne counties.
Beginning this summer, meals will be available at designated community sites to ensure children have access to nutritious food while school is out. The program is open to all children at no cost, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
Second Harvest continues its mission to combat childhood hunger by expanding meal access throughout Coastal Georgia during the summer months.
Bulloch County
Meals will be provided at Statesboro YMCA, 409 Clairborne Ave. Statesboro, GA. 30458 from 9:00am to 10:00am and 11:00am to 1:00pm. The Summer Food Program will start on June 1 and end on July 31.
