COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – A big fitness fundraiser – benefiting local military and health care nonprofits – has begun! It involves people running, walking or cycling from one side of the peach state to the other.
The 16th annual “Run Across Georgia” is happening now and ends Memorial Day weekend. It spans 277 miles from Tybee Island to Columbus, on main and back roads including uphill terrain in this heat.
