PEORIA, Ariz. — A high school in the West Valley is mourning the loss of a math teacher and soccer coach who recently passed away following a long cancer fight.
Liberty High School announced Wednesday the death of Tyler Hussey, who had spent years enduring an aggressive form of cancer.
“Coach Hussey was, above all, a good human being. He cared deeply about people and consistently put others before himself,” school officials wrote in a statement. “Whether in the classroom or on the field, he showed up each day with kindness, humility, and a genuine desire to serve and support those around him.”…
