10 defendants from Caddo, Bossier, DeSoto and more sentenced in federal methamphetamine case

Ten people prosecuted in connection with an operation allegedly distributing methamphetamine in Louisiana have been sentenced at the Tom Stagg U.S. Courthouse in Shreveport.

Among them were three from Shreveport and one from Plain Dealing. Two defendants identified early in the investigation were from Natchitoches.

Those were Perry Willis, 37, who received a sentence of 24 years and four months, and Daniel Efferson, 33, sentenced to 30 years, according to information from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Louisiana. All were charged with conspiracy to distribute narcotics…
