SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Sgt. Logan McDonald spent years investigating some of Shreveport’s most violent crimes. Now he’s applying that experience to protect victims of domestic violence.
McDonald leads a team in the Shreveport Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit. He was promoted to sergeant in October 2022, a milestone in a law enforcement career that colleagues say has already covered significant ground.
“He’s helpful, not only within our unit but also with the victims in this aspect that we deal with as well,” said Detective Amanda Peele. “He’s very hands-on, very informative, very knowledgeable about our job as well.”…
