SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A Fairmont Apartments resident says she has faced additional problems at the complex after speaking out about mold in her unit, according to previous KSLA coverage.
Ruthie Nash, 59, has lived at the Fairmont Apartments since 2021. She said the white paint on her walls has chipped away, revealing what she believes is mold throughout her unit.
“Fairmont gets named fair,” Nash said. “But is they fair? No, they’re not. Because why would you allow the people to come in here and you know this place is infested with mold. They know that.”
Violation and vacate notice
Nash said she brought her concerns to property management but instead was issued a violation. The Fairmont described the violation as “disorderly conduct and disrespect of office staff.”…
