Caddo Parish officials shared an early vision Friday of what the $70 million sporting complex they hope residents will approve could be.
Hoping to convince people across the parish to approve a bond sale that would fund construction of a multisport facility somewhere in Caddo, officials Friday shared early concept art and plans for the project, as well as a vision for what it all could mean to local families and tourism.
Gathering at the Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center, recently reopened after a voter-approved reconstruction, the Caddo Parish Commission held a special meeting to provide the public with a presentation about the project. Voters will be asked to approve the funding plan in November…
