ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) – KALB has learned that National Weather Service —including the Lake Charles and Shreveport branches— began experiencing a communications outage at around 1:30 p.m. Central Time on Saturday, September 5.
At this time, NWS – Lake Charles cannot disseminate severe weather warnings through their weather products. The service is actively working to restore communications.
In the meantime, should severe weather arise, Cenla residents should check the National Weather Service – Lake Charles social media pages as well as the KALB Facebook Page…
