SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Rain and thunder rolled through Shreveport Saturday evening, arriving just as people were heading out to enjoy the first night of the Labor Day weekend.
In downtown Shreveport, the rain sent some people making a quick dash from their cars to nearby businesses, while others waited under awnings for the heavier downpours to pass.
For those spending the weekend on the road, however, Saturday night’s rain was a reminder that changing weather can add another challenge to holiday travel. Wet roads can reduce traction and make it harder for drivers to stop quickly or see clearly…
