Appeals court rules on legality of evidence in Shreveport domestic violence murder case

Testimony offered from an ex-girlfriend on Oct. 29, in the Shreveport trial of Brandon Wayne Lindsey may have played a part in his being sentenced to life in prison.

Now, the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal has ruled the testimony was admissible under the law and that Lindsey’s conviction and sentence for killing Heaven Weed, 23, were proper.
