SHREVEPORT, La. — Firefighters extinguished an alley fire Thursday afternoon, preventing flames from spreading to an adjacent warehouse.
Crews responded to a call at 4:25 p.m. in the 2900 block of Linwood Avenue, where smoke and flames were visible along the side of a warehouse structure. The first arriving unit, Engine 8, reached the scene at 4:30 p.m. and quickly knocked down the fire in an alley adjacent to the building.
