HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – One person is dead after a crash on Interstate 20 early Wednesday morning.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to reports of the crash on I-20 East near the 26-mile marker in Hinds County at approximately 1:40 a.m. Sept. 23.
According to officials, 54-year-old Gerald Wirth Jr. of Haughton, Louisiana, was driving a 2024 Volvo tractor-trailer when the vehicle collided with 54-year-old Jimmy Anthony of Pearl, Mississippi, a pedestrian in the roadway…
