SHREVEPORT, La. — Caddo Parish sheriff’s Capt. David Latron Robinson, a veteran law enforcement officer with more than 30 years of dedicated service, died suddenly on Tuesday, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn.
Robinson served as the captain of investigations at the time of his passing. Throughout his distinguished three-decade career, he earned widespread respect across the agency and the local community for his leadership, expertise, and unwavering commitment to public safety, Whitehorn said.
“Capt. Robinson was more than a colleague; he was a mentor, a friend, and a source of strength for those who had the privilege of working alongside him,” Whitehorn said in a statement. “For more than three decades, David dedicated himself to protecting and serving the people of Caddo Parish.
