Hopefully, the Shreveport area will see a renewed filming industry in our near future. A lot of things are falling into place to rekindle Shreveport’s history as “Hollywood of the South”. Before the State of Louisiana limited the savings the film industry enjoyed here, Shreveport was a magnet for big-budget films. Even today, with credits capped, you can still find some filming locally.
