SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The City of Sioux Falls has announced road construction projects that will impact parts of the city starting Monday and Tuesday, September 14 and 15.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
49th Street Road Closure
Beginning on Monday, September 14, 2026, 49th Street will be closed between Spencer Boulevard and Southeastern Avenue to allow crews to replace the railroad crossing surface west of Southeastern Avenue.
