SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – The price for buying a house in the Sioux Falls area has gone up while the number of new listings have gone down, according to the latest numbers from the Realtor Association of the Sioux Empire.
The April 2026 statistics from the association show the median sales price of single-family homes, condos and town-homes at $344,550, which is up by nearly 9% from last year.New listings dropped 21.6% to 664. Closed sales were sitting at 378, which is down by nearly 3%, however, pending sales saw an increase of 119% to 863.
