SPOKANE, Wash. — Second Harvest is expanding food distribution with additional walk-up events, which began on Wednesday at the Wolff Family Child Hunger Solution Center.
The available items from the walk-up market at the Wolff Family building include fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable foods. Health and hygiene supplies, including deodorant, toothpaste, tampons, and more, are available. This distribution site at 402 N. Perry St. will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 19-20, August 24-27, and August 31- September 3.
The organization is also partnering with Excelsior Wellness in the South Indian Trail neighborhood. This Community Care HUB will provide access to the Excelsior Wellness Care Closet for cleaning supplies, hygiene products, and other essentials while supplies last.
