SPOKANE, Wash. – A 33-year-old woman was arrested on Wednesday after homeowners notified law enforcement that she was trespassing on the property of their residence, which had been destroyed in the Old Trails Fire, and claimed she was stealing items, according to the Spokane Police Department (SPD).
Officers first responded around 2:45 p.m. to the area to search for the suspect, while other officers were dispatched to the victims’ home, located on North Sutherlin Street in the Indian Trail neighborhood.
