Clayton woman injured in Deer Park after a wheel from a defective car rolls and hits her

A 34-year-old woman was injured after she was hit by a rolling car wheel Tuesday morning.

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) said a car was traveling south on SR-395 when it lost a wheel. The wheel rolled across a parking lot and struck a 34-year-old Clayton woman at a coffee stand around 8 a.m. Tuesday. Emergency crews took the victim to Sacred Heart. Her condition is unknown at this time.
