50th Annual South County Fourth of July Parade celebrates America250

This morning the 50th Annual South County Fourth of July Parade, presented by Waste Connections, celebrated America250 – the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The parade’s 2026 theme, “America250,” came to life through patriotic floats, marching bands, military units, community groups, and first responders. The longstanding community tradition in The Woodlands also featured a Rolling Thunder cannon salute, a Color Guard presentation by the Sons of the American Revolution (Freedom Chapter), a live bald eagle appearance, and a performance by Lord Sterling’s Fifes and Drums.
