The Conroe Police Department is investigating death threats against several city council members and the mayor as tensions rise over the city’s continued use of automatic license plate readers.
The comments, which have since been removed from Facebook, said the council should be “unalived,” and another said they should be “hung” for treason, according to Mayor Duke Coon. The threats were comments on a post about the council and the city’s use of Flock cameras.
