SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – This Memorial Day, you can take time to honor the sacrifice of those who served our country.
At 1 p.m. on May 25, you can join in on a Memorial Day service at the Springfield Missouri Veterans cemetery with speakers and a proper salute to those who have died.
“It’s just amazing, truly,” said Tony Cupples, the cemetery director. “It’s hard to put in words, and I’m a talker so I can talk a lot, but when it comes to the consistency of our veterans, families, our community, the loved ones, it is absolutely just breathtaking and amazing how many people will come each and every year to come down for our ceremony.”…
