OZARK, Mo. – Another heavily traveled bridge in southwest Missouri has seen a new load restriction after a regular bridge inspection.
The Route 14 bridge over U.S. 65 in Ozark will soon see new signs indicating a weight limit of 40 tons for single-unit vehicles, according to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation.
The new restriction, which does not include tractor-trailer units, came about during MoDOT’s regular bridge inspection process to analyze load limitations, which have been updated per Federal Highway Administration guidance.
