REPUBLIC, Mo. (KY3) – Fire crews responded to a restaurant in Republic Saturday night.
According to the Republic Fire Department, crews were dispatched to a reported smoke in the building call at Big Whiskey’s restaurant on N. Old Town Ave. at around 9:30 p.m. Guests inside the restaurant were evacuating at the time of the call.
Once on scene, crews said they only saw smoke inside the restaurant. Crews then started to take down parts of the ceiling and saw flames present.
Officials said they were able to extinguish the fire from both inside and from the roof. Everyone on scene safely exited the restaurant, and no injuries were reported…
