Residents, businesses and nonprofit organizations in seven southwest Missouri counties can now apply for low-interest federal disaster loans tied to severe weather that struck the region in late April.
The Missouri State Emergency Management Agency announced the assistance after the U.S. Small Business Administration issued a disaster declaration covering Christian, Dade, Dallas, Greene, Lawrence, Polk and Webster counties, according to a community announcement.
