A Springfield man has been arrested in Laclede County after assaulting medical staff and law enforcement at Mercy Lebanon. Allen Ronald Frampton was taken to the hospital after he was assaulted at a party. Frampton who was reportedly intoxicated was placed in a rolling chair and he began resisting and assaulted 2 members of Mercy medical staff. When he was rolled into the treatment area, with multiple facial injuries he again began resisting after which they sedated him and he again began insulting and threatening staff and officers in the room. Frampton is charged with 3 counts of assault. The incident happened on Monday January 28th; his next court date is February 5th.
