Springfield’s New Day Center for homeless often reaching capacity 6 months after opening

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -The New Day Center for the homeless has been open for about six months, and it’s already consistently reaching capacity.

Operated by the Community Partnership of the Ozarks, the Springfield day center brings multiple resources and programs under one roof for adults experiencing homelessness. But some days, the building fills up fast—especially in the early afternoon.
