SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Jess Deals says Swapaplooza began over a year ago as a way to come together.
“It started as a solution to people who could not have garage sales at their home, either because they live out in rural areas or apartments or things like that. People come out here, they sell their items, and then it kind of evolved into like a marketplace,” Deals said. “People start selling their craft items or homemade items, even baked goods. Now there’s food trucks and all kinds of craft vendors, and so it evolved into this giant indoor-outdoor marketplace.”
