STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The FDNY has officially announced the cause of the fatal explosion that rocked a Mariners Harbor shipyard on May 22.
FDNY fire marshals determined that the 2-alarm fire and explosion at May Ship Repair on Richmond Terrace was accidental.
