STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A man from Elm Park pleaded guilty more than a year after pointing a ghost gun at a victim during a parking dispute that led to a wild chase with police through the streets of Staten Island.
Master Spencer of Trantor Place is awaiting sentencing, which is expected to include three and a half years in jail and an equal amount of time in post-release supervision. Right before his case was due to go to trial in State Supreme Court in St. George, Spencer entered a guilty plea on Monday to the top count of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. He was remanded to Rikers Island.
“Armed with a loaded and illegal ghost gun, Master Spencer menaced and threatened an innocent Staten Islander over a parking spot before refusing to yield to a car stop, leading NYPD officers on a dangerous chase through Port Richmond,” District Attorney Michael E. McMahon said in a statement…
