STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 16-year-old boy is in critical condition after being hit by a car on Staten Island Wednesday.
According to a spokesperson for the NYPD, police responded to a 911 call of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Castleton and Treadwell avenues in Port Richmond at approximately 7:45 p.m.
The 16-year-old boy was driving what police described as a “two-wheeled vehicle” when he was struck by a 2011 Hyundai Sonata traveling east on Castleton Avenue, toward St. George, and making a left turn onto Treadwell Avenue, the spokesperson said…
