Staten Island man with multiple DWI convictions faces new hit-and-run charges

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police allege that a 49-year-old man was drunk when he struck and injured a pedestrian with his car in a hit-and-run crash in Great Kills.

Michael Farrell of Maybury Avenue in Great Kills was arrested for the crash that occurred on June 11 around 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Great Kills and Amboy roads, according to the criminal complaint and police.
