PORT RICHMOND, Staten Island (PIX11) — A 20-year-old man was stabbed and beaten by a group of teens on his way to a Staten Island deli Monday night, according to police and the victim’s father.
The man was ambushed after the suspects pulled up in car near Heberdon and Post avenues in Port Richmond at around 7:20 p.m., according to the NYPD and the victim’s dad.

The victim was visiting his sister and had gone to the deli to get something to eat, according to the victim’s dad. On his way, a car full of teenagers pulls up and the ask what he was doing there before he was attacked, the dad said.
Police said one of the suspects asked, “Where are you from?” Before he could answer, he was stabbed multiple times with a kitchen knife, police said. The rest of the crew then repeatedly punched the man, cops said…
