Syracuse, N.Y. ― A woman who worked as a bookkeeper and office manager for a Syracuse law firm has been charged with stealing more than $200,000 over five years.
Katrina Elmer, 55, worked for Germain & Germain, a Syracuse-based civil law firm, Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick said.
Elmer is charged with second-degree grand larceny, a felony, police said in a criminal complaint filed in Syracuse City Court. She faces a maximum of 15 years in prison…
