SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Convicted rapist and kidnapper Christopher E. Block was returned to the custody of the New York State Department of Corrections & Community Supervision.
That’s according to an alert by DOCCS. Block is being held at the Elmira Correctional Facility. DOCCS said he was returned to prison for violating the conditions of his parole. The specific conditions he violated were not released.
Block, who has a history of violating the terms of his parole, spent 34 years of a 50-year prison sentence after he was convicted of kidnapping and raping two women he was a stranger to in 1984.
