SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A Your Stories investigation may have you thinking twice about what you send through the mail.
A Syracuse woman said multiple cards she mailed, some with gift cards inside, were opened, stolen, or never delivered.
“Last year between April and August, I sent out three thank you cards to friends,” Louise Westfall, of Syracuse, said. “The first card got returned to me due to lack of postage. When I was looking at it, I noticed that the card had been opened.”
