Member of beloved Syracuse rock band dies at 70: ‘We’ll all miss you’

The Syracuse music community is mourning the loss of a beloved local band’s member.

Paul Armstrong, co-founding guitarist of The Flashcubes, died at 70 on Monday morning, according to bandmate Gary Frenay. A cause of death was not announced, but Armstrong was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year.
