Police successfully use drone, K9 to locate suspect who led them on a pursuit in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Syracuse Police have arrested and charged a suspect — with an outstanding felony warrant out of Maryland — after they took law enforcement on a vehicle and foot chase.

On Friday, April 17, around 1:45 a.m., Syracuse police officers and the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office took part in a vehicle pursuit, which ended near Burnet and Hicock Avenues.

The suspect then fled on foot into a very wooded area, which launched a coordinated search across multiple law enforcement agencies.
