BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. — An early morning house fire in the Village of Baldwinsville Sunday turned deadly after crews were called to a report that someone might still be trapped inside.
At 4:51 a.m., the North West Fire District was dispatched to Salina Street for a reported house fire. Police units arrived first and found the house fully involved, with the bulk of the fire in the rear.
One of the two people inside was able to evacuate and provided the last known location of the other person inside before being taken to Upstate Hospital for burn-related injuries. The first person is listed in critical but stable condition…
