The Children’s Entrepreneur Market, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to empowering children through entrepreneurial experiences, is coming to the Tacoma area, with several events scheduled through October.
There are currently eight markets planned, starting with an event in Lacey on May 16. The events are open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend.
The nationwide program provides a marketplace and customers for 5- to 17-year-olds to sell their products, ranging from lemonade stands and gourmet cinnamon rolls to hand-crocheted animals and 3D-printed objects.
