TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A man has been indicted on charges of first-degree murder and firearm possession by a convicted felon in connection with a May 13 deadly shooting outside a business on West Tharpe Street in Tallahassee, according to court records.
Markus King, 25, was arrested nearly a week after the shooting occurred, per previous reporting. The shooting happened around 4:30 a.m. on May 13 when the Tallahassee Police Department responded to reports of gunfire.
The victim, whom court records identify as Antron Davis, was driven by another person to a second location after the shooting, where police attempted life-saving measures. Davis later died from his injuries.
According to previous reporting, Davis had been asked to leave the business after arguing with staff. Investigators said the argument continued outside, where Davis allegedly made threats and got into a vehicle.
